The objective of this event is to benefit the Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD) and its projects and programs promoting social, economic and democratic development in the Dominican Republic

GFDD is a private, 501(c)3, US registered not for profit, non-partisan organization, dedicated to promoting collaboration between international institutions and the Dominican Republic, conducting research and analysis, providing educational and training programs and implementing development and exchange opportunities for Dominicans in the country and the diaspora, in areas critical to the advancement and modernization of the Dominican Republic.

The XX edition of GFDD Golf Tournament will be celebrated at Pembroke Lakes
Country Club on March 18th, 2024.

Tournament Overview:

FORMAT: “2-MEN SCRAMBLE”, playing as a team. Team Handicap will be TWENTY FIVE (25%) of the sum of both players handicaps

FLIGHTS:
Flight A: Team Handicap (0 to 6.4)
Flight B: Team Handicap (6.5 to 12)

TOURNAMENT AWARDS:
• Top 3 Net Scores per Flight
• Longest Drive
• Closest to the Pin in all Par 3’s
• BEST OVERALL “NET SCORE” among all the teams
• BEST OVERALL “GROSS SCORE” among all the teams will receive the grand “GFDD CUP”

• Players registration & welcome kit pickup
• Welcome snacks
• Driving range & putting green
• Open for practice

12:00 P.M.

• Deadline of players registration & welcome kit pickup

12:15 P.M.

• Tournament opening ceremony at the “putting green”

1:00 P.M.

• Official tournament playing starting time (shot-gun)
• Lunch boxes for players will be available in the golf carts

6:00 P.M.

• End of tournament playing

• Tournament awards dinner & closing ceremony
